ART OF FACES

Is makeup art? I believe we may have found the answer to that question in this. And the answer is yes.
Three extremely talented artists have teamed up to create the "Art of Faces" series. The team consists of photographer Alexander Khoklov, retoucher Veronica Ershova and make up artist Valerya Kutsan, who have combined their skills to make these optical illusion images. 2D or 3D?

TEENAGE DIRTBAG

A week ago today I turned 19. In celebration of only having a year left of being a teen, I thought I'd share some of my recent accomplishments with you, and things that I hope to achieve in the future - kind of like a New Year's resolution post, but a very late one.

1. Last September I began studying fashion journalism at university. This was quite a big deal for me as this is something I have always wanted to do, but I never believed it would happen. It was never made aware to me that fashion journalism was an option at university. I was told it was either "fashion" or "journalism" - never a combination of the two. I didn't want to make clothes, and I didn't want to write about the news. I wanted to combine them both and WRITE ABOUT FASHION. Now I can say, that I DO write about fashion and I'm loving it. Not only has being at university let me study something I love, it has made me more independent, as I now have to do all my own cooking and cleaning. I have also met some amazing people who I hope to stay friends with for a very long time. I hope that studying this degree will open up more opportunities for me in the world of fashion and that I'm not scared to take them!

FACE FIVE CHALLENGE TAG | BEAUTY

Today, I have decided to do a beauty post. Considering the fact that I have quite a substantial makeup collection, I honestly don't know why I haven't posted about beauty and makeup previous to this post. But nevertheless, here we go! This post is all about my basic 5 items that I use everyday.

The rules of the Face Five Challenge Tag:
1. Use 5 and only five products to create a complete makeup look
2. Each different product counts as 1 product
3. No palettes are allowed
4. Tag 5 others to complete the challenge
5. Have fun!

So here's my 5...
